A world editor lets a builder select a region and change it with a command: fill it, replace one block with another, copy and paste it, or save it as a schematic that can be loaded on any server. Brushes extend that to freehand sculpting for terrain and organic shapes.
WorldEdit is the standard tool and the one most other plugins integrate with. It works in creative mode and, used carefully, in survival worlds for staff. FastAsyncWorldEdit is a fork designed for very large edits: it applies changes off the main thread so a big operation does not freeze the server, at the price of a larger and more complex plugin.
Both are powerful and dangerous. A command with the wrong selection can erase a build, so restrict them to trusted staff through permissions, set a limit on how many blocks one command can change and keep backups before large edits.
Schematics are also how builds are shared. A schematic saved with one plugin is meant to be loaded with the same or a compatible one, so check the format and the Minecraft version a build was saved in.
Which should I use, WorldEdit or FastAsyncWorldEdit? WorldEdit is simpler and is the reference implementation. Choose the faster fork if your builders regularly edit very large areas and the server stalls.
Can I let players use these? Rarely. Give them to trusted builders only and set block limits, since one mistaken command can change a large area.
MCRank is Minecraft resource search and discovery. Featured placement is its paid visibility layer: creators pay to appear first, labeled Featured, on the page their resource belongs to and in searches that resolve to it. Payment buys placement, not guaranteed clicks, traffic or sales, and never an MCRank endorsement. It is bought by the owner of an approved resource, from their account.
Paid Featured placement is not available at the moment.
