About Economy & Management
Economy plugins on Paper and Spigot do not usually stand alone. One plugin holds balances, and others, such as shops, jobs and rewards, read and change them through a shared interface. Vault is the long-standing interface that lets those plugins cooperate without knowing about each other.
Shop plugins give players a way to trade. Chest shops let a player turn a chest and a sign into a shop; admin shops sell from a catalogue. Which fits depends on whether you want a player-driven market or a server-controlled one.
Decide the rules before you launch an economy: how currency enters the game, how it leaves and what stops duplication from collapsing it. An economy with no ways to remove money inflates quickly.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need Vault? Many economy-aware plugins ask for it, so it is a common dependency. Check the plugins you plan to use and install what they list.
Each page lists three clearly separated parts: Featured Resources (paid placements), Trending Now (recent engagement) and Resources (approved by review, newest first). Approval means a resource met MCRank’s listing requirements; it is not an endorsement.
