About MCRank
Last updated 15 October 2026
MCRank is an independent Minecraft resource search and information site. It helps people find and understand plugins, server setups, Discord bots, builds and other resources, and sends them to the creator's own page to get them.
01
What MCRank is
People search for something specific, such as a Lifesteal server setup or an anti-dupe plugin. MCRank has a page for each of those searches. The page explains what to look for and then shows the approved resources that fit it, whether a creator submitted them or MCRank listed them itself.
MCRank does not host, sell or deliver resources. Every resource links to the page where its creator offers it. MCRank is not a marketplace and is not an official part of any marketplace.
02
How a page is ordered
Every intent page, every search that names one and the Plugins overview have three parts, always in this order, and each part is labelled. A search that names no page shows ordinary results and nothing paid.
- Featured Resources: promotional placements that creators pay for. They come first, each one carries a Featured badge, and their order follows the current weekly bids (see How Featured works). Featured does not mean best, recommended or safest.
- Trending Now: up to three resources that people have recently been engaging with. It is separate from Featured, a resource cannot buy its way in, and the section is hidden when nothing qualifies.
- Resources: everything else that has been approved. Resources are not second-class; they are simply not paid for and not currently trending. Among equally relevant resources, the most recently approved appear first. That is a discovery order, not a quality ranking.
03
What approved means
Every resource is reviewed before it is public, whether or not its creator pays for Featured placement. Approved means a resource met MCRank's listing requirements: its details are valid, it is allowed under the Content Policy and its destination was reachable at the time of review. MCRank does not ask a creator to prove they own the destination before a resource is approved, so approval does not prove who made or owns it. Anyone who believes a listing should not be there can report it, and an owner can ask for a correction, a claim or a removal.
Approved does not mean MCRank guarantees the resource is safe or good, endorses its creator, certifies its safety, promises it will stay available or will work for everyone. A reviewer's check that a destination page was reachable is not proof of who owns the resource. See the Disclaimer.
04
Listings MCRank added itself
The first listings on MCRank were added by MCRank, not submitted by their creators. MCRank wrote each one from information its creator had published publicly, and each says so on its page ("Listed by MCRank") and credits its source.
Nobody has shown control of the destination page for these listings, and unless a listing says otherwise its creator has not claimed it. Approval of such a listing rests on MCRank's own review of the page, not on the creator's say-so, and MCRank does not speak for the creator.
If MCRank has listed your project and you want it corrected, claimed or removed, use the Contact page.
