MCRank

Advertise your Minecraft resource

MCRank is Minecraft resource search and discovery: people search for a plugin, a server setup, a Discord bot or a build, and each search has its own page. Featured placement is how a creator pays to appear first, labeled Featured, on the page their resource belongs to and in searches that name that page.

Paid Featured placement is currently unavailable: no one can buy a placement yet and no payment is being taken. This page describes how it will work when it opens.

What you buy
Visibility: your resource appears first on the one MCRank page it belongs to, with a Featured badge next to its name.
What is shown
Your approved listing, as it is. There is no separate advertisement, copy or link: the Featured entry is the resource itself.
Where it shows
On intent pages, such as a Lifesteal setup or an anti-dupe plugin page, in a search that names one of those pages (for example, a search for lifesteal server setup) and, for plugins, on the Plugins overview, from the campaign you already placed and at no extra cost. Not on the homepage and not in any other search.
Result order
Featured Resources first, then Trending Now, then Resources. Each part has its own heading, and the same resource is never shown twice on a page.
How you get it
A weekly bid. A week runs Monday 00:00 UTC to the next Monday. You bid a whole number of US dollars, at least $2, and pay through PayPal. A bid counts only once PayPal confirms the payment.
Order among Featured
There is no fixed limit on how many resources can be Featured on a page. The highest paid bid is shown first; if two bids are equal, the one that reached that amount first. That is a purchase order, never a quality ranking.
Raising a bid
You can raise your bid during the week and pay only the difference. A bid can never be lowered.
Every Monday
Every bid starts again at $0. Nothing carries over, so a resource that wants to stay Featured bids again.
Being outbid
If someone bids more, you move down. Being outbid is not refunded, and there are no discretionary refunds; the Refund Policy has the details.
What it does not promise
Not clicks, traffic, engagement or sales, and not an endorsement. Featured means paid; it is never described as best or recommended.
Review comes first
Every resource is reviewed before it is public, whether or not it is Featured. Payment does not skip review, and approval is not an endorsement.
Trending Now
Separate from Featured and driven by recent engagement, for up to three resources. Featured gives no boost, and engagement from Featured placements does not count toward it.

How to start

  1. Sign in and submit your resource for review. You can paste a link to fill in the details, or enter them yourself. It costs nothing to be reviewed.
  2. A reviewer checks the listing and approves it, or tells you what to fix. No proof of ownership is needed to be listed.
  3. Once it is approved, open it under Your resources and choose Advertise My Resource. You will see this week’s highest bid on your page and what a bid of your own would cost before you pay.

Read the Advertising Policy and the Refund Policy before you buy.
